WEBCAST MON/TUE: African Regional Internet and Development Dialogue (#RIDD 2017)
On Monday/Tuesday May 8-9 2017 the Internet Society’s Africa Bureau will host the African Regional Internet and Development Dialogue (RIDD 2017) in Kigali, Rwanda. The conference has the theme – Enhancing Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Education in Africa through the Internet – and is part of the global series of Internet Development conferences organized by the Internet Society with the aim of supporting the implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference will offer open high-level discussions addressing the following dimensions: Internet and SDGs; Connecting the Next Billion; African Internet Economy; Opportunities for Africa’s education. The plenary sessions will be webcast live via the Internet Society Livestream Channel. Kigali is UTC+2 – 6 hours ahead of NYC.
