  WEBCAST JUL 19 – Digital Sovereignty in the G20 

  On Friday July 19 2024 the FGV Direito Rio (FGV Law School) hosts a full day conference ‘Digital sovereignty in the G20‘. This event marks the launch of a book on digital sovereignty, illustrating its different facets in a complex and dynamically changing regulatory environment. Particularly, it will discuss the new frontiers of digital sovereignty in the context of AI, the emerging challenges on data sovereignty and economic security, and the concept of digital public infrastructure as a possible harmonizing framework to account for those elements across jurisdictions while providing digital public goods.

  WEBCAST JUN 27 – Cybersecurity in the G20 

  On Thursday June 27 2024, at 10:00 -12:00 BRT (13:00-15:00 UTC) the FGV Direito Rio (FGV Law School) will host a webinar ‘Cybersecurity in the G20′. Experts will explore key cybersecurity issues from the perspectives of G20 stakeholders, pointing out what priorities should be addressed by G20 leaders to promote sustainable cybersecurity governance.

  The webinar is a side-event of the T20 (group of Think Tanks of the G20) and is organized by the Center for Technology and Society at FGV, in partnership with the United Nations University EGOV Unit, Consumers International, and the Brazilian Institute for Consumer Protection.
