WEBCAST OCT 2 – A11yNYC – Locking in Best Practices Early: Building PACNYC.org – Vlado Vince and Natalie Kertes
On Wednesday October 2, 2024 at 7:30pm-8:30pm EDT (23:30-00:30 UTC) the Accessibility NYC Meetup (A11yNYC) hosts a meetup ‘Locking in Best Practices Early: Building PACNYC.org‘. PAC NYC is a new performing arts venue in Lower Manhattan that required the digital platforms from scratch. While this was a unique and exciting opportunity to follow best practices in accessibility from the beginning, it did come with some challenges unique to startup environments. Vlado Vince and Natalie Kertes will describe iterative accessibility improvements through the whole design process, from the initial website vendor selection through launch and subsequent feature releases.
The meetup will be webcast live via a partnership with the Internet Society New York Accessibility SIG.
