WEBCAST MAR 5 – A11yNYC – The Accessibility Tales: Stories from the Before Times – Jesse Beach
On Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 7:30pm-8:30pm EST (00:30-01:30 UTC Mar 6) the Accessibility NYC Meetup (A11yNYC) hosts a meetup ‘The Accessibility Tales: Stories from the Before Times‘. Jesse Beach , Engineering Manager, Specialist in Accessibility at Meta, will take us back to the dawn of automated accessibility testing, when ARIA 1.0 was still a draft in committee, and, through much trial and error, the JSX A11y ESLint Plugin as well as the aria-query and axobject-query libraries were developed.
The meetup will be webcast live via a partnership with the Internet Society New York Accessibility SIG.
