WEBCAST JUL 12 – A11yNYC – Speaking Up and Speaking Out: Tactical Communication and Consulting – Cam Beaudoin

isoc liveOn Tuesday July 12 2022 at 7:30pm-8:30pm EDT (23:30-00:30 UTC) the Accessibility NYC Meetup (A11yNYC) hosts an online meetup ‘Speaking Up and Speaking Out: Tactical Communication and Consulting‘. How frustrating is it when you have something important to say, but people don’t listen? What should you say when your leaders and colleagues don’t hear the importance of disability inclusion? When it comes to expressing yourself, the words you choose and how you communicate makes all the difference. In this talk, Cam Beaudoin shares real-world experience from working with the largest, industry-leading tech companies and consulting on disability inclusion and advocacy to coach the audience on their communication skills. He’ll dive deep into what’s needed to speak to others and motivate them to take action.

The meetup will be webcast live via a partnership with the Internet Society New York Accessibility SIG.
