Opportunities for Bipartisan Tech Policy 2020
On January 23, 2020, from 9:30am – 4:30pm ET (14:30-21:30 UTC), Next Century Cities’ second annual Opportunities for Bipartisan Tech Policy will take place in Washington, DC. Elected officials, policymakers, advocates, and other thought leaders from across the country will gather to discuss some of the most significant technology and telecommunications policy issues of our time. The goal of Opportunities for Bipartisan Tech Policy is to facilitate challenging conversations, find common ground, and determine action steps on these issues. Speakers include Geoffrey Starks, FCC Commissioner; Angela Siefer, Executive Director, National Digital Inclusion Alliance; Sascha Meinrath, Founder & Director, X-Lab; Dr. Francine E. Alkisswan, NTIA, and Benjamin Rossen, Federal Trade Commission. The event will be webcast by the Internet Society Washington DC Chapter.
