  WEBCAST APR 26 – ISOC Hyderabad – Knowledge Session on Universal Acceptance 

  On Friday 26 April, 2024 at 11:30 IST (06:00 UTC) the Internet Society India Hyderabad Chapter (ISOC Hyderabad) in association with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will present a hybrid multi-hub event ‘Knowledge Session on Universal Acceptance‘. This session will provide an introduction to Universal Acceptance (UA). To create an awareness about UA we will discuss about Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), Email Address Internationalization (EAI) and how the participants can be involved in ongoing UA related activities.

  WEBCAST MAR 16 – ISOC India Hyderabad Chapter Webinar – Connected Devices 

  On Saturday 16th March, 2024 at 11:30 IST (06:00 UTC) the Internet Society India Hyderabad Chapter (ISOC Hyderabad) will present a webinar ‘Connected Devices‘. IoT or M2M device data refers to the data meant for communication to an application, service or process. Data also refers to data received by a device for its monitoring or for actions at actuator in it. Data stack denotes the data received after the actions at various in-between layers (or levels or domains). Actions at the data-adaptation or other layers can be related to data privacy, data security, data consolidation, aggregation, compaction and fusion. An action can be a gateway action—using one protocol for reception and another one for transmission. The key design principles of connected devices and a case study will be delivered during the session.

  WEBCAST APR 18 – IPv6 Migration: Need, Issues, and Process 

  On Monday April 18 2022 at 11:00-12:15 IST (05:30-06:45 UTC) the Internet Society Hyderabad Chapter will host a webinar ‘IPv6 Migration: Need, Issues, and Process‘.

  The ISOC Hyderabad Chapter Working Group on IPv6 is focusing on capacity building, from knowledge sessions to IPv6 deployment projects, to engage ISOC academic hubs in India on the most happening technology. This talk will discuss the motivation to migrate Institutional networks to IPv6, the significance of being IPv6-ready, and challenges and opportunities, drawing on the experience gained while migrating an institutional campus network to IPv6.

  WEBCAST SUN: Dialogue on Inclusion: Does the Internet represent diverse voices? Perspectives from gender, linguistic and marginalized communities 

  On Sunday December 19 2021, at 09:30-11:00 IST (04:00-05:30 UTC), the India Youth IGF, in conjunction with Internet Society’s India Hyderabad Chapter and India Chennai Chapter, hosts a webinar ‘Dialogue on Inclusion: Does the internet represent diverse voices?‘ to unpack the idea of inclusive internet in Indian context. “Internet United” was the thematic chosen for 16th Internet Governance Forum. Taking the conversation forward, we attempt to explore if the internet is really inclusive through the lenses of various communities like LGBTQ, PwD, marginalized and linguistic communities.
