WEBCAST FEB 19 – Manthan: A Stakeholder discussion on the AI Governance Guidelines Development
On Wednesday 19 February, 2025, at 4pm-5:30pm IST (10:30-12:00 UTC) CCAOI hosts an online interactive stakeholder discussion ‘Manthan: A Stakeholder discussion on the AI Governance Guidelines Development‘. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) constituted the Subcommittee on AI Governance and Guidelines Development on November 9, 2023, to analyse existing regulatory gaps and provide recommendations for developing a comprehensive AI governance framework for India. Subsequently the Report on AI Governance Guidelines Development was released for comments.
This discussion aims to make the provisions of the report more understandable and relatable to a wider audience and provoke thoughts about the AI Governance framework India needs and to encourage stakeholder(s) to make submissions.
