WEBCAST TODAY: @FDICgov ‘Digital Footprints’ webinar 2 – Ensuring Computer Access. With @NCDEus @DrBobDigital Lisa Trisciani @ConnectionGovEd Sarah Segrest @Artechstry Ulrike Smith @fsb_nh #digitalinclusion #digitalequity
On Thursday June 4 2020 at 11:00-12:00 EDT (15:00-16:00 UTC) the National Collaborative for Digital Equity (NCDE) in collaboration with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) hosts the second in its five part webinar series ‘Community Reinvestment Act, Digital Equity and Systemic Inclusion‘. This week’s topic is ‘Equipping Low-and-Moderate Income (LMI) Youth for the New Normal – Ensuring Computer Access‘. Today’s learning environment now requires home computers. However, many low-and-moderate income (LMI) youths find themselves at a digital device disadvantage. Join us as we highlight innovative solutions that provide access to refurbished and new laptops, explore the donation process to LMI individuals and families (e.g., positive Community Reinvestment Act implications) and discuss approaches to bring the idea to scale.
