Subsea fiber-optic cables are critical infrastructure that underpin global communications and digital transactions. With the AI revolution, increased digital connectivity, and growing threats to underwater infrastructure, the resiliency and integrity of cables is more important than ever. Following a series of case studies earlier in the year – Ireland |Japan | Singapore | Egypt – CSIS is promising a comprehensive report that analyzes the global subsea cable ecosystem, along with its main threats.
