On Tuesday, 27 October 2026 at 08:00–10:00 EDT (12:00–14:00 UTC), the Internet Society (ISOC) hosts the ‘Early Career Fellowship Symposium 2026‘ online.
The Internet Society Early Career Fellowship aims to empower the next generation of Internet champions around the globe, who will advocate for the Internet to be for everyone, everywhere. The Symposium introduces the 2026 cohort, who have spent the past few months working on Internet-related projects and on a curriculum created by DiploFoundation (DIPLO), the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), Dr. Laura DeNardis, Dr. Mike Barger, the Oxford Internet Institute and Rhizomatica.
Fellows present their projects and their expertise on wider Internet issues in three parallel panels organized around today’s most pressing Internet challenges, framed by opening and closing sessions from the Internet Society Foundation. The event is in English, with simultaneous interpretation into French and Spanish. Registration is free, and open to users in a listed set of countries and regions.
