On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, at 12:00–13:00 UTC, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) hosts a webinar in its Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional series, ‘ KSK Rollover 2026‘. The ICANN DNS root zone Key Signing Key (KSK) rollover is scheduled for 11 October 2026. On that date the new cryptographic trust anchor (KSK-2024) will be used to sign the root zone for the first time, making the rollover vital to the security of DNSSEC-validating resolvers worldwide. This is an open event, with interpretation in English, Arabic, French and Russian.

On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, at 12:00–12:45 UTC, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will host a webinar ‘Discovering Parked Domains and the Evolution of their Behaviour‘, part of its Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) webinar series. In this talk Siôn Lloyd will look at what we mean by a parked domain, and how we can discover them at scale. He will then look at changes to the parking ecosystem, covering ‘zero-click’ redirections and ‘Traffic Distribution Systems’, and what this means for visitors to those pages.

On 29 April 2026  the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) hosted a technical webinar ‘EMEA: Phishing and DNS Abuse – Operational Blindspots‘.

This presentation examined phishing and DNS abuse through real-world attack cases — tracing how actors exploit registration patterns, subdomain infrastructure, and DNS monitoring blind spots to extend the operational life of phishing campaigns. It draws on attacks targeting both legacy TLDs and emerging namespaces, with practical implications for registrars, DNS operators, and combatting threat actors.
