WEBCAST OCT 12 -15: 5th Indigenous Connectivity Summit
On Tuesday 12 October 2021 – Friday 15 October 2021 the Internet Society will convene the 5th Indigenous Connectivity Summit online. Each year the ICS community comes together to discuss ways to ensure Alaska Native, American Indian, Inuit, Native Hawaiian, First Nations and Métis communities have affordable, high-quality and sustainable Internet access, and talk about how connectivity supports social and economic development.
The ICS 2021 will highlight Indigenous communities pursuing innovative and independent ways to connect to the Internet and their unique challenges to connectivity – further complicated by exclusion from national markets and the policy making processes that support them.
