The 2024 Uganda Internet Governance Forum (UIGF) was convened on August 2, 2024 in Kampala. Since 2006, UIGF has been a platform for deliberation on Internet governance concerns in the country.

On Tuesday November 8 2022 the Internet Society Uganda Chapter hosts the Uganda Internet Governance Forum at the Golf Course Hotel, Kampala, Uganda. The forum will be held under the theme ‘A resilient and united digital inclusion for all Ugandans‘.

The one day event aims to bring together representatives from government, media, private sector, civil society and individuals interested in shaping discussion on how Internet can be used as tool for empowerment and development in Uganda.

Sub-themes for this year’s forum include – Cyber security, data governance, privacy,digital inclusion, digital economy, Artificial Intelligence.
