VIDEOS: NYC Computer Science Education Meetup 2014 @CSNYC #compsci #education #nyc
In 2014 the Internet Society’s New York Chapter (ISOC-NY) has been happy to sponsor video recording for the New York City Foundation for Computer Science Education. As part of the CSNYC’s goal to ensure that all children in NYC local public schools have access to computer science education, they host the CSNYC Education Meetup to help build a community of professional practice around computer science education. It also serves as an interface between the teachers and the local tech community. Topics in 2014 have included gender, game design, Papert & LOGO, careers, teaching, citizen science, and making.
