  WEBCAST THU-SAT: Hudson Valley TechFest Conference 2021 

  On Thursday-Saturday 28-30 October 2021 OpenHub hosts the Hudson Valley TechFest Conference (HVTechFest), with the theme ‘From Digital Divide to Digital Transformation and Collaboration‘. The HVTechFest annual conference is the space where developers, designers, engineers, innovators and emerging talents from across Hudson Valley are getting together to brainstorm challenges, share insights and ideas, get inspired and guided. HVTechFest 2021 will be simulcast by the Internet Society New York Chapter (ISOC-NY).

  WEBCAST TODAY: NY Affordable Housing Broadband Initiative – Program Design Launch Webinar 1 

  Today Tuesday June 29 2021 at 18:00 EDT (22:00 UTC) House New York, NYSAFAH, HR&A Advisors, Inc., and the Broadband Equity Partnership host ‘Affordable Housing Broadband Initiative – Program Design Launch Webinar 1‘. This innovative program will expand reliable and fast broadband connections in subsidized, privately-owned affordable housing across New York State. The program will provide the State of New York with a roadmap to leverage recent and future federal stimulus funding for broadband connectivity in affordable housing. In this session, the program partners will discuss the current state of broadband access in New York State and the program design process and approach. The webinar will be the starting point of an expansive engagement process to identify broadband infrastructure needs and inform solutions to overcome implementation and adoption challenges.

  VIDEO: @NYSDPS State of #Telecom in New York Report – NYC Public Hearing June 15 2015 

  On Wednesday June 15 2015 the New York State Public Service Commission held a Public Statement Hearing at the NY Institute of Technology in NYC on the recently issued Department of Public Service Assessment Report on the State of Telecommunications in New York. The nearly three hours of testimony included statements from ISOC-NY President David Solomonoff and Board member Joe Plotkin. Video is below – click through to the YouTube description for an index.
