Civic Hall is a new 15,500 sq.ft. civic tech community center and event space at 156 5th Ave in the heart of Manhattan, stewarded by the folks who run the Personal Democracy Forum. As they finalize the installations, they have begun recruiting members and running orientation sessions. On Jan 7 2015 ISOC-NY’s Joly MacFie arrived too late for one of these sessions, but Civic Hall COO Heidi Sieck was kind enough to walk him around as she prepared to close for the night.
