On 11 May 2026, at 11:30-14:00 PDT (18:30-21:00 UTC) Meta-Layer Guild hosted a hybrid event ‘Collective Intelligence+AI: Designing Interfaces for Human Coordination‘ in San Francisco, as part of Human + Tech Week as well as the ongoing ‘Breaking Out of Silos‘ design challenge series.

What if collective intelligence emerges not from smarter AI, but from better-designed interfaces that shape how humans coordinate, decide, and govern together? As AI increasingly mediates attention, meaning, and decision-making, the weakest link is not intelligence but coordination. Fragmented realities, invisible AI influence, and weak consent and accountability at the interface level erode shared understanding and trust.
