isoc.liveOn Thursday April 28 2022 at 10:00-11:40 SBT (23:00-00:40 UTC) the Internet Society Pacific Islands Chapter (PICISOC) will host a virtual-regional Girls/Women in ICT Talk ‘Access & Safety’. For girls and young women to thrive in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers, they need safe and reliable access to the internet and digital tools.

The Girls in ICT Day aims to cultivate the presence and digital skills of girls and young women, creates a global environment that empowers and encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, enabling both girls and technology companies to realise the benefits of greater female participation in the ICT sector and other STEM sectors through collaboration and partnership.
