WEBCAST APR 1: To sanction or not to sanction the Internet access: A SancNet debate
On Friday, April 1st 2022 at 4pm-5pm CEST (14:00-15:00 UTC) the Global Internet Governance Academic Network (GigaNet), the UCLA Institute for Technology, Law & Policy, Digital Medusa, ARTICLE19, and the University of Amsterdam IN-SIGHT.it project, present ‘To sanction or not to sanction the Internet access: A SancNet debate‘. A panel will tackle questions such as: Can there be “effective” sanctions imposed on the Internet that are proportional, deterrent and not just symbolic? Can we have an interoperable Internet or will SancNet not work?
